An unusual herb that you'll be hard-pressed to find elsewhere, dittander is in the same plant family as mustard. Its leaves have a wasabi-reminiscent kick, however unlike wasabi this heat doesn't linger and instead gives way to a subtle background, almost aniseed-y, sweetness.
Try the leaves chopped up in a herby frittata, thrown into a stir fry mix, or sliced into a salad. Its roots can be used as a horseradish replacement.
